A functional life coach is a professional who helps you reach your potential dreams by teaching you the tools you may missed early in life. Often, in today's society skills we need to cope in an adult world are not taught while we were younger. It could also be due to certain conditions such as autism and ADHD.
Jean customizes skills and experiences to the client she is working with at the moment. She is able to transfer basic foundational skills and knowledge to someone who may be struggling.
For example, someone who struggles with ADHD many have trouble organizing themselves. Perhaps someone who struggles with Asperger/Autism may have struggles with how to connect emotionally to the people around them.
Jean utilizes coaching skills to help guide and inspire forward motion and connection. She empowers you to reach out and use skills and solutions the two of you discover together.
Jean will assist you to access your best ability to function in a society which can be a challenge to navigate even when you have all the skills you need.

How a Session Might Work
Since each session is customized to your specific needs, I’ll need to know a few things ahead of the session. I will have questions to help me understand where you are at emotionally, mentally, and any specific request you may have in mind.
After we have established what you are looking for the you can get scheduled with me, you will receive a link to my online calendar in your e-mail or by text to join me via in person, by phone or video conference based on what we have agreed to. We chat a few minutes (of course!) and talk more about what you'd like to learn or experience from your session. After that, let the work commence! Your needs and willingness to open to the skills we work through will pave the way for you to begin to make the changes you are working toward.
The energy you put into the session will determine what you get out of it. If you do allow yourself to fully commit to the process, you will come away from your session with wisdom, guidance, healing, and practical action steps to move you forward.
